Autumn is in the air. Is it still hot outside? Sure, but there's an edge to it. The mornings are finally cool enough to handle and it's begun to get dark much earlier. This of course has me craving all of my autumn favorites: pumpkin, cinnamon, coffee/tea, and soup. I've been feeling inspired by these things lately so maybe I'll try and work them into a piece of art.

On the art front I'm afraid this hasn't been the most artistic week. I bought some new supplies last Monday to find that I need some earring bases to do anything with them (and some thread since I refuse to pay $7-$8 for a small spool). I did make a little fanart of Chiyo from Azumanga Daioh, but I still need to ink and color it which will hopefully get done tomorrow.

Every week I do a series of features centered around a theme that struck a chord with me that week. This week that theme is Cinnamon. As mentioned above cinnamon is one of my favorite reminders of autumn/winter. It's spicy scent brings back memories of cozy nights spent snuggled in bed with a good book or strolling through town with a hot coffee in hand.
